WE SHIP FAST

Our manufacturing and warehouse system is designed to build, process and ship your order as quickly as possible. Our order processing team is committed to filling all orders within 5 business days, however, most orders ship the same day or within 24 hours. For shipments going to Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Mexico and all other International destinations outside of Canada please call Dectron, 503-482-5043, to place your order and discuss shipping options.

SHIPPING HOURS

Shipments are made Monday thru Thursday on business days only, (The Dectron order fulfillment center is closed on Fridays). No orders can be shipped on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays or U.S. National Holidays. Orders received after 2:00 pm Pacific time will be processed the following business day. Orders received after 2:00 pm Pacific time on a Thursday will process on the following business day which is usually Monday, unless it is a holiday. If you have any special shipping requirements please contact us by phone at 503-482-5043. 

DELIVERY TIMES

Ground shipments are generally delivered within 1 – 5 business days depending on where the shipment destination is, in relation to our factory in Wilsonville, OR (U.S.). Next Day, Second Day and Third Day orders are delivered in 1, 2 or 3 business days depending on the level of service selected and the availability of the product or products ordered. Weekend days and holidays do not count as business days. For example, a second day order that ships on Thursday will arrive on the next business day, which is normally Monday, not Saturday unless Saturday delivery is requested. International delivery times can vary greatly. Depending upon the destination country, it can take several weeks to fully process through customs, delaying delivery.

SHIPPING RATES – SMALL PARCEL

Contiguous United States

Your freight charge is determined by the total weight of the items in your order, the dimensions of the packaging, the type of freight service that is selected and available to your destination, and any applicable handling fees. Ground, Next Day Air, Second Day Air and Third Day options are available for most areas in the contiguous U.S.

Alaska and Hawaii

For Alaska and Hawaii additional shipping fees may apply. Your freight charge is determined by the total weight of the items in your order, the dimensions of the packaging, the type of freight service that is available to your destination, and any applicable handling fees. Next Day Air, Second Day Air and Third Day options are available.

Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Mexico and all International Destinations Outside of Canada

Shipping to Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Mexico and all international destinations outside of Canada is the sole responsibility of the customer. Once packaged, Dectron will forward to you the dimensions and weight of your shipment in which you will be required to schedule the pick-up and freight of your shipment. Dectron is happy to assist with the generation of the customs documentation at the customer’s request. The customer will bear all responsibility for any charges related to the shipment up to and including the freight cost itself in addition to any brokerage charges, export fees, import tariffs or taxes, and or any other fees associated with shipping internationally. Contact Dectron, by phone 503-482-5043 or email sales@dectronusa.com, to place orders and arrange international shipping. 

Shipping Accounts 

If you prefer to use your UPS shipping account there is an option at check-out to select “Use Your Shipper Account” where it will ask for your UPS account number. All Purchase Orders placed directly with Dectron may provide their UPS account number on the Purchase Order itself along with the desired service option if they wish to bill freight collect. If a shipping account is not provided Dectron will default to its standard option of UPS Ground with all costs being pre paid and added to your final invoice.

MOTOR FREIGHT 

We reserve the right to ship orders over 150 pounds by truck. In the instance that an order qualifies for motor freight, we will contact you directly to schedule freight via your preferred carrier. All motor freight shall be billed collect unless arranged otherwise. Dectron is not responsible for merchandise damaged or lost by motor freight carriers. If your shipment is damaged or shorted any packages, have the damages or shortages noted by the delivery carrier’s agent on the receipt and freight bill. If you accept a short or damaged shipment without proper notation by the agent, you do so at your own risk. 

ADDITIONAL SHIPPING & DELIVERY NOTES

– Sorry, we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes

Orders with multiple products will be consolidated into one shipment, unless otherwise requested in the order notes.

Most delivery companies will deliver your package regardless if someone is there to receive it or not. This is important to know if the delivery address is located in an area where the package can be compromised in any way.

All products leaving Dectron are thoroughly inspected before being packaged by our shipping department. If your package arrives with visible damage and was not shipped collect on your account, please REFUSE delivery and instruct the carrier to return to sender. This also applies to packages that were left at the destination and unsigned for. In this case do NOT open the package and call the delivery service and instruct them to return the package to sender. Call or email Dectron with details on what happened and we’ll deal with the delivery company from that point forward and ship a replacement order as soon as possible.

If you notice product damage after delivery, while unpacking, contact Dectron for instructions.

Common examples of a damaged box:

  • – A smashed, ripped or destroyed box
  • – Holes or punctures in the box or packaging
  • – If the package looks like it has been opened prior to delivery
