Shipping Within the USA
Unless otherwise specified, our standard shipping method for all packages are UPS GROUND. The cost of shipping is based upon shipper used, number of packages, shipping method, package weight and dimension, insured value, and COD fees if applicable. The cost of shipping is billed to your credit card or PPA (pre-paid and added to the invoice) and will be shown on your invoice. The option of providing your UPS or FEDEX account number and billing all shipping charges directly to your account (freight collect) is available. We reserve the right to ship orders over 150 lbs by truck. The trucking company used will be our choice and all freight charges will be shipped collect unless other arrangements are made upon placement of order. An additional $10.00 service charge will be added to all orders requiring “same day service.” All orders paid for by credit card or bank order transfers will not be shipped until the credit card clears or the funds are posted to our bank account. All orders are shipped F.O.B. DESTINATION from our facilities, Dectron LLC in Wilsonville, OR.
Preferred shipping for international orders is freight collect, using your FEDEX or UPS account number, and billing all costs, customs clearance requirements, local taxes and duties directly to your account. Our normal shipping method is “UPS International” which offers an Expedited service (4-5 day delivery) or Express service (2-3 day delivery). UPS provides door-to-door service and does not charge routine customs clearance. CIF (cost, insurance, freight) quotations are available by request. CIF quotations do not include duty or taxes for the destination country. All duty, taxes, and other fees associated with international shipping will be the buyer’s responsibility. All orders are shipped FOB DESTINATION from our facilities, Dectron LLC, in Wilsonville, OR.
Damaged, Lost or Short Shipments
Claims regarding damaged goods or shortages must be made within one week after receipt of merchandise. To help us give you prompt service, please refer to your purchase order and our packing slip number on the package.
Notify your local UPS Office immediately to advise them of the problem. Then, contact us so we can re-ship the merchandise to you and make a claim with UPS. Keep all damaged goods and containers until advised to dispose of them.
Dectron LLC is not responsible for merchandise damaged or lost by motor freight carries. If your shipment is damaged or shorted any packages, have the damage or shortages noted by the delivery carrier’s agent on the receipt and freight bill. If you accept a short or damaged shipment without proper notation by the agent, you do so at your own risk.
Return Material Authorization (RMA) Policy:
If it becomes necessary for a customer to return any Dectron® LLC product(s) to the factory, e.g., for repair, modifications or the return of an engineering sample, these procedures MUST be followed:
- Always contact the Technical Support Department with a brief description of why the reason for the product returns request.
- Obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number for the equipment from Dectron® Products Mgr..
- Include with the equipment a copy of the RMA and any other needed documents.
- Write the RMA number clearly on the outside of all packages containing the equipment and all correspondence regarding the equipment.
- The equipment must be returned to Dectron LLC with shipping pre-paid, properly packaged and properly insured.
- The RMA is only valid for thirty days (30) from the date it was issued. Any product(s) shipped to Dectron LLC without an authorized RMA number will be refused back to the shipper.
- If the equipment is covered by warranty, there will be no charge for parts and labor. Please refer to warranty statement.
- Repair charges for out-of-warranty equipment and for modification will be done on a per quote basis.
Return Policy (New Equipment)
No return or exchange will be accepted for standard equipment more than 30 days (60 days for International) after the original ship date. Any item returned during the 30/60-day period is subject to a 20% minimum restocking fee. Returned equipment must be unopened and in new condition to get full credit less the restocking charge. If upon receipt of the returned equipment it is found that it has been used or a component is missing and/or damaged, the customer will be charged for the replacement part(s) and labor costs in addition to the restocking fee. Dectron LLC products that have been modified or altered by the customer in any way may not be returned for credit or exchanged for another product. Custom equipment manufactured to a customers specified requirements are not eligible to be returned for credit or exchanged.
Dectron LLC will not accept returned product(s) unless authorized in writing prior to shipment. See RMA Policy above.
- Granting the customer the authority to return the goods will not be construed to signify the acceptance of the goods themselves or of the customer’s claim, but only signify authority to physically return the goods so that they may be inspected, and so that proper disposition of the customer’s claim may be made after such inspection.
- Dectron LLC reserves the right to return the goods back to the customer if they are found to be deficient during such inspection, with no credit to the customer, and the customer to bear all transportation charges.
Dectron LLC warrants its products against defects in material or workmanship for 2 years on mechanical components and 10 years on all other non mechanical components from time of delivery. Dectron LLC’s sole obligation under this warranty is to provide parts for repair, or at its option, to provide replacement product (excluding labor). The buyer shall have no other remedy (all special, incidental and coincidental damages are excluded). Written notice of breach of warranty must be given to Dectron LLC within the warranty period. The warranty does not cover damages resulting from improper installation, maintenance, misuse, corrosive environments or modifications.
In any Dectron LLC articulating arm application where even a single instance of failure to support the load might result in personal injury, loss of life or significant damage. Dectron LLC does not approve the use of the Dectron® LLC line of products.
This policy statement is made in the name of Dectron LLC and is effective as of June 1st, 2019. This statement does not create an agreement between Dectron LLC and users, and as such, does not create any legal rights for any party.
