October 4th, 2011 - Dectron announces it’s newest application for it’s industrial series of Articulating Arms aimed at optimizing and organizing industrial floor space. The heavy duty 70 Series provides ergonomic and space saving benefits while offering easy adjustability and maneuverability of tools and custom applications.
For their most recent application, Dectron borrowed ergonomic principles often applied in the medical and dental fields where articulating arms are routinely used to position critical instruments and applications in close proximity of the doctor. The Dectron 70 Series now allows this same principle to be applied in industrial facilities, permitting machinists and operators to easily position within arms reach the tools, prints, instruments or applications they need while setting up and running a job. Immediate benefits include an increase in productivity, a reduction in employee strain and fatigue and an increase in floor space as arms require a mere fraction of the area benches and cabinets do.
The 70 Series is available in 2 or 3 axis configurations, lengths up to 48” and mounts easily to almost any surface. 2 Axis Rigid Systems feature load capacity up to 100 pounds while 3 Axis Flex Systems counterbalance loads up to 45 pounds utilizing heavy duty die springs. A variety of arm attachments, including Trays and Load Shelves, are available to support tools or interface with custom applications.
Dectron is an American manufacturer of Articulating Arm Systems designed for a wide variety of standard and custom applications in the Industrial, Commerical, Medical, and Dental fields.
