HISTORY

DecTron®, was founded in 1980 as “Special T Shop.” Our first arms were developed for the demanding ergonomic, and high precision, needs of the Ophthalmological and Optometric fields.  Meeting those customer requirements, and solving their unique needs, would lead DecTron to pursue, and offer, a wide variety of ergonomic solutions.

In 1997, the Dectron line of products was acquired from a very established, well respected Dental equipment manufacturer. Originally designed for industrial applications, the higher weight capacities, superior crafstmanship, and unparalleled reliability of the Dectron line of products propelled it into industries of every type, including the medical, dental, and optical fields.

In August of 2009, Special T Shop re-branded as DecTron with the intent of putting full focus on providing the best, and most reliable Ergonomic, Space Saving, and Lean Process solutions on the market today. DecTron’s 30 plus years of manufacturing expertise, management excellence, and product innovation are focused on the firm commitment to provide you with Articulating Arm Systems of unparalleled quality designed to fit your specific needs.
